Frequently Asked Questions

Does the business days calculator exclude holidays?

The calculator excludes weekends (Saturday and Sunday) but does not exclude public holidays, as these vary by country and region. Subtract known holidays manually for exact counts.

How is the month difference calculated?

A month difference counts complete calendar months. For example, Jan 15 to Mar 15 is exactly 2 months. Jan 15 to Mar 10 is 1 month and 23 days.

Can I calculate dates far in the future or past?

Yes, the calculator works for any date range. You can calculate dates centuries apart.

Does it handle leap years?

Yes. February 29 and other leap year specifics are handled correctly in all calculations.

What is the difference between calendar days and business days?

Calendar days count every day including weekends. Business days count only Monday through Friday, excluding weekends.

Can I subtract days from a date?

Yes. In Add/Subtract mode, use negative numbers or toggle the subtract option to go backwards from a date.
